    • Nu'uanu Pali
      • Lookout amongst the volcanic mountains and site of a huge battle in the late 1700s when rival kings were fighting/One king was was trying to unite the islands/400 warriors plunged to their deaths

    • Kualoa Ranch
      • Honey roasted macadamia nuts are made here and are yum!
      • Delicious coffee made with macadamia nut oil
    • Byodo-In Temple
      • Bhuddist Temple

      • Rang the bell for good luck and lit some incense
      • Ponds filled with golden coloured koi that were huge as well as some turtles
      • People leave their favourite foods and drinks on the memorials of their loved ones
    • Bob the driver
      • Told some good stories to keep us interested
  • Had Jack in the Box for the first time.  All burgers with cheese and pickles seem to be terrible but the curly fries are yum.  Small coke here is the same size as a large at home!
  • Gorgeous pink, purple and orange sunset over Waikiki Beach
  • When at the Macadamia Ranch we saw three bus loads of very similar looking men arrive.  They were new soldiers on orientation now that they've been stationed at Schofield Barracks.  They are all in their late teens and early twenties.  Some are straight out of high school.  Apparently they'll be the new striker units.  I found it quite sad.
  • Saw a free Hawaiian show on the beach outside our hotel.
