    • Alcatraz was really fantastic
    • Only took 15 minutes to get there and the audio tour was awesome
  • Walked home from the Wharf up and down some of the most ridiculously steep hills and think I'll be feeling it tomorrow
  • Had dinner at another really good diner and got to try cherry pie for the first time; It was amazing!

  • When at the Macadamia Ranch we saw three bus loads of very similar looking men arrive.  They were new soldiers on orientation now that they've been stationed at Schofield Barracks.  They are all in their late teens and early twenties.  Some are straight out of high school.  Apparently they'll be the new striker units.  I found it quite sad.
